George Park Jr has over 40 years experience in the music business. His first record was released in 1978 when he was only 18. George has performed on radio & television, and played backup for many of the top Nashville recording artists doing Classic Country.
He has worked the stage with entertainers like The Kendalls, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Freddy Weller, Reba McEntire, Don Gibson, Jim Ed Brown, Ferlin Husky, Red Sovine, Billy Crash Craddock, Johnny Russell, Jerry Lee Lewis, Peggy Sue, Soji Tabuchi, Joe Maphis, and Hank Williams' Drifting Cowboys Band.
George has had the honor of working with groups like Denim & Lace (Virginia state champion country music band), The Country Seasons (backup road band for various Nashville artists), and The Country Store Opry (live stage show featuring classic country music).
George's main instrument is the pedal steel guitar, but he also plays lead electric guitar, mandolin, electric bass guitar, and drums. He has released five CDs of his own, and played on recording sessions for many other country artists. He is currently the general manager & chief engineer of WVSB FM radio station in Romney, WV., better known as Classic Country 104.

George Park Jr's newest CD, "This Is Classic Country", contains a whopping 20 tracks. It has classic hits, Texas shuffles, some gospel favorites, and a few pedal steel guitar instrumentals. The new single, "Everything Has Got Some Purple In It", is also featured on it.
